Welcome to my web page Panther Parents, Guardians and Students!!!

The 2019 school year is underway, and I'm so excited to share in your child's learning journey!  My goal is to provide an enriching and engaging experience to them, as they prepare to be productive individuals who are successful in life.

During this semester in Journalism, your child will be learning about the First Amendment, current events, advertising, interviewing, explore college and careers, and how to design and create a yearbook. Along with gaining skills in communication and photography, they will explore how to create multimedia projects, and write scripts for different formats.

The amazing adventure that awaits your child will surely be fun and memorable. As we explore the limitless opportunities, they will become more self aware and appreciative of all they have to offer the world!

Thank you in advance for your support, trust and faith throughout this process! It means everything to me!

King Manifests Success,

Ms. Dickson

Membership dues are only $5 for the entire year.

Tie dye Project

Students learn the art of tie dyeing tshirts. They analyze designs and color choices, then prepare their garments for the tie dye process. I'm always amazed with their end results. This is one of our favorite activities.

Ice cream in a bag Project

Students learn how to make ice cream in a bag. We read the recipe, watch a tutorial video and get into groups to produce our creamy creations. The results are delicious 🍨 *watchoutbluebell
