Howdy! I am so happy to be here at C. E. King Middle School!  This is my fifth year as the instructional coach for ELA and social studies at KMS.  I have been in education for thirteen years and have been part of Sheldon ISD for seven years.  I previously taught 8th grade ELA here at King Middle for two years before becoming the instructional coach.

 

I am a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2005.  Whoop!  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I have a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a literacy focus from the University of Texas at Arlington.

 

As an instructional coach, I work with the ELA and social studies teachers to build instructional strategies into their lessons. Being able to still be in a classroom setting is the best part of this job; that is where my heart is.  I work with amazing teachers that bring language arts/reading and social studies to life.  You will see me floating around the campus in all grade level classrooms and teacher planning meetings.
