Sandra Menchaca

I am excited to be here at C. E. King Middle School!  This is my second year as the instructional coach for Math and Science at KMS.  I have been in education for nine years and have been part of Sheldon ISD for seven years.  I previously taught 6th grade math here at King Middle for one year before becoming the instructional coach.

I am a proud member of the University of Houston Class of 2011.  Whoop!  I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a certification in Bilingual Education .  I am currently in the Masters of Education program at Lamar University.

As an instructional coach, I work with the Math and science teachers to build instructional strategies into their lessons. Being able to still be in a classroom setting is the best part of this job; that is where my heart is.  I work with amazing teachers that bring math and science to life.  You will see me floating around the campus in all grade level classrooms and teacher planning meetings.
