Campus History
C.E. King Middle School
Originally constructed in 1965, C.E. King Middle School houses approximately 1,294 students in grades 6 through 8. The building has been added onto 8 times, with the most current addition being additional space for girls' athletics. The Annex was built in 1972 as Parkway Elementary School and became a part of C. E. King High School in 2001. C.E. King High School was moved in 2020 allowing this building to become C.E. King Middle School.
The facility also houses our KASE Academy program which is the King Academy for Student Excellence. This program provides an alternative for the non-traditional high school students to obtain their high school diploma.
